Gornergrat (3,089m) is an alpine train station on the eastern mountain slope of the Zermatt valley. The station provides spectacular views of 29 four-thousand-meter peaks packed with snow and ice. The Gornegrat train station is just opposite of the Zermatt main train station. We went to Gornergrat in the afternoon after lunch.
